How to Judge Product Quality?

Surface Inspection

Good panels have smooth, even surfaces and full UV coating, without bubbles, scratches or uneven color.

Bad products have unclear textures, printing ghost images and patchy discoloration.

Physical Tests

Flexibility: Gently bend the panel. Quality products rebound well and won’t break. Inferior ones will leave white marks or shed powder.
Density: At equal thickness, high-density panels are heavier with tight inner structure. Low-density boards have visible holes and loose texture on cross sections.

Odor & Environmental Safety

Quality panels have no sharp smell. Wipe the surface with a wet cloth and check odor. Poor products release pungent gas.

III. Craft & Structure Check

Size & Thickness

Check if actual thickness matches the standard (e.g. 3mm ± 0.2mm). Big errors indicate poor quality.

Edges must be neatly cut. Burrs and chipping will affect installation and sealing.

Surface Finish

Marble patterns should be clear and layered. Blurry or duplicated patterns mean low printing quality.

Matte and gloss effects need to be uniform with no streaks. The UV layer is required to pass 500-hour anti-yellowing test.

Q: Can the panels be processed into bespoke sizes and shapes?

A: Yes. Cutting can be done with a circular saw fitted with fine teeth (18 to 24 teeth per inch). A CNC router is ideal for high-precision custom profiling. Since PVC dust may cause discomfort, protective dust masks are recommended during cutting operations.

Q: Is dedicated adhesive necessary for installation?

A: No dedicated adhesive is required. Conventional solvent-based neoprene contact cement is suitable. For projects with low-VOC demands, water-based adhesives are fully compliant. Apply adhesive to both the panel and base material, allow 10–15 minutes to reach tack, then apply firm pressure for complete bonding.

Q: What are the maintenance differences between these panels and natural marble?

A: Natural marble must be resealed every year and is susceptible to corrosion from acidic agents. Our products only require routine cleaning. Additionally, they remain intact without cracking under varying temperatures, which is a common defect of natural marble.
